Fork and Spoon was founded in 2021 by Misha Gujja, a 14 year old student from Long Island, New York. Seeing how so many people became dependent on food banks and soup kitchens for meals following the pandemic, while right next door, pounds of food were being wasted by restaurants, hotels and grocery stores, Misha realized that these were two interlinked issues that could be combated in tandem. From this, Fork and Spoon was born.
